New Year, New Me. New Year’s Resolutions. The is My Year. Out with the Old, In with the New. And all the various ways people say they are ringing in the new year. What is really in a new year?

For me, it’s the prospect of returning to the educational circuit. Continuing with my writing. Moving forward with my day work. It’s the ever evolving cycle of life that I have going.

It doesn’t really feel like a new year. It feels like a continuation of life into the next unknown. Isn’t that just like life though? A continuation into the unknown? A journey to a better you every day regardless of the new year coming?

As I look to my friends and family making their resolutions, I feel warmth and love. I make no resolutions this year. Instead, I made a list of things I wish to accomplish.

> Complete my year at school with a B minimum.

>Get my first draft at least three-quarters of the way finished, within reason of school and work hours.

>Broaden my position at my day job.

Simple. Fairly easy. And just right for me.

So, what are the accomplishments that you want to achieve in the new year?
